Why Does Africa have the Highest Growing HIV/AIDS Population

Africa has one of the highest growing HIV/AIDS populations because there are many drug users, men who have intercourse with men, and other issues. Inequality among gender and violence contribute to the rise of HIV among women and girls, because women often lack the power to decide whether or not to have sex or use a condom while they're doing it. There is also not a lot of treatment available to people in African countries because they're considered "third-world". Their economy is not as good as say, China or the UK, so they don't have the money to buy medical supplies, buy books on treating diseases ,or antiretroviral drugs that would be able to help educate people and prevent transmission.
